We in the 21st century have as our goal and duty the task of building a better and brighter world for everyone. Over time, people throughout the world have greatly developed and advanced their respective cultures, and sport has always played a key role. Today, Triathlon is now an Olympic sport enjoyed by everyone in the world.

Today in Asia, many people of all ages and from all walks of life are joining Triathlon. Through participation and competition they are strengthening not only themselves, but the bonds that bring them together in friendship as fellow athletes.

It is my belief that these bonds will foster peace, development, and understanding throughout Asia.

It has long been my dream to help foster this development through challenging sport known as Triathlon. My ultimate goal is to help promote harmony and friendship through sport, specifically through Triathlon.

I sincerely hope that I will be able to perform my duties as ASTC President so that together we can realize this tremendous goal.

Sincerely yours,

YU Kyung-Sun
ASTC President
